Code of Conduct - Sandy Costello

Please do not feed entire dinner before class.  We want a hungry dog for training.

You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog, both inside and out.  Waste is to be placed in the dumpster outside.  After dark, walk near the lights or bring a flashlight with you.  In winter, please bring a bottle of clean up solution with you since ours is usually frozen.
There will be no verbal or physical corrections while you are training your dog in our classes.  The only exception is if your dog is heading towards another dog or person in an aggressive manner.
Please keep your dog on leash when not working.  Please be courteous and use common sense with your dog.
Please do not get on the equipment until class starts unless you have permission from the instructor.
No smoking in or near the building.
We hope you will participate with enthusiasm, encourage your fellow classmates, and most of all, have fun with your dog.
If at all possible, please let the instructor know when you will miss a class.
To check for class cancellations or schedule changes, please call the Flexible Flyers Hotline 610.692.5518.  If you have an email address, let us know and you will be added to the Flexible Flyers distribution list for notices.

 Rules and Regulations

Copy of Rabies Certificate and a signed waiver must be on file with the Class Coordinator.

All dogs must be kept on lead, tied or crated when not working.  If, while crated, they bark excessively, you will  need to cover their crate or relocate them to your car while waiting for their turn.
People and dogs should not approach any tied dog.
Children must be under direct supervision at all times.
You must pick up after your dog in all indoor and outdoor areas.  You will need to have plastic bags, paper towels, and a cleaning liquid for indoors.
If your dog relieves itself on any equipment, report it immediately to an instructor, then clean it up.

We reserve the right to excuse from class at any time without giving a refund:

any dog showing aggressive behavior towards dogs or people, any person or dog whose attitude, behavior or physical condition, in our opinion, is unacceptable.

All participants and visitors must sign a waiver prior to the start of training.
No smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed on the property.
Report any situation in need of attention to your instructor.
Dogs must be worked with a properly fitted buckle collar and leash unless your instructor states otherwise.
Participants must follow the directions of their instructor, and have supervision on all obstacles until told otherwise.
Do not climb on or abuse equipment.
Participants are expected to assist in setting up and moving the equipment, when necessary, before, during, and after class.
If weather is in question, call the Flexible Flyers Hotline 610.692.5518, for cancellation information.
Participants are required to sign-in before class.  Pre-starters and above are to pay training fees at this time.
